Elena Spirgevičiūtė, a young Catholic from Kaunas, Lithuania, surrounded by the most aggressive communism and Nazism, hears one word resound inside of her: purity. She dies at nineteen years of age defending her honor as a woman and as a Christian. She is murdered at the hands of a communist police officer who will later be awarded the Hero of the Soviet Union.
